For example, the table on the left below lists the perimeters for the intersections of various size vessels at a 30 degree angle. The R stent perimeter of 17.9mm allows it to accomodate all intersetions with the exception of being slightly less than the perimeter of the intersection of a 4.0mm main vessel and a 3.5mm side branch. With less acute angles, the R stent is able to accomodate all intersections.
