Jim Clossick's background includes 20 years of medical device experience. He specializes in design control, process validation engineering, design of experiments, failure mode and effects analysis, customer requirements analysis, and quality functional deployment (QFD). He has worked in all three prominent engineering disciplines - research and development, manufacturing, and quality assurance. He holds two US patents for device design. In addition to his BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, he has undertaken additional studies in biomedical engineering. He is a certified quality engineer, a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a certified QFD facilitator.
