Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Alfred Novak has over 18 years experience in the areas of finance, operations, executive management, and development in the medical device industry. He also has extensive experience in business mergers and acquisitions. He joined Cordis Corporation, now a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson, in 1984 and served in numerous managerial positions within the organization during his 12 years service, including vice president of corporate development and administration and chief financial officer. He became president and CEO of Biosense, Inc. in 1996, a position he held for three years until the company was acquired by Johnson and Johnson in 1998. Mr. Novak has since been involved with various start-up medical device companies. He is currently Chairman of the Board for Transurgical Inc. and Sutura Inc. and is also a founding member of Syntheon LLC.
